Simba Von Lancaster is a charming 13 month old long-haired German Shepherd. He lives in a foster home with another female dog and a little 18 month old boy. Simba is the more submissive and relaxed dog of the house hold. He has had no problem getting along with his fellow playmate and does not crave attention, but also does not turn down a good rub down. He has been tested to the limits with the child of the house hold. He has been sat on, squeezed, and even had his ears pulled by the curious toddler, but never once has shown any sign of aggression or jealousy towards him. He lets his foster know if it is time to go out with a cry or scratch at the door and sometimes even a kiss on the nose in the morning. He can hang out outside, but he is also a very pleasant indoor pal.  After the initial excitement of getting out the door for a walk, he walks right next to his foster on his leash but if he does start to pull, he just needs a little tug and commanded to “heel” and he will be right back to his calm self. This beautiful dog would be a blessing to any house hold that is willing to put in a little work to find Simba’s full potential. He loves to cuddle and would complete any growing family because of his tenderness towards children.
